"Advanced Design Studio" Course

Dear all,

Please be informed that the “Advanced Design Studio” course by Prof. James Stevens - [PAD & ASD] specializations, will take place in two weekends 22^nd -24^th  June and

29^th June -1^st  July. The syllabus course is on the Master Archive.

The timetable for this weekend June 22^nd -24^th is:

Friday 22^ndJune : 13:00-17:00

Saturday 23^rd June: 13:00-17:00 -From 10:00 to 12:00 o’clock will be held the ULSI Exam.

Sunday 24^th June: 9:00- 17:00

Master's Courses

Dear All,

We want to inform the students of the [ASD; PAD and LUD] specializations that  the “Theory of Contemporary Architecture” course by Prof. Antonino Saggio  will be held from 25^th  to 27^th May 2012.

Also the participants of ASD and PAD specializations the "Aesthetic Structural Design" course by Prof. Skender Luarasi will be held from 8^th to 10^th June

ULSI Land Court

Dear  participants of ULSI course,

We want to inform you that the Land Court (for all those that were present during the lecturing days), 

will take place on 19 May, from 9.00 – 16.00 for  both groups.

Please notice that for the other days: 18 and 20 May for the first group and 1, 2, 3 June for the second group there will be not lesson.

The next course on Master Programme  will be “Urban Land Strategies and Instruments”- (ULSI) by Prof. Carlos Morales, shall take place during 4-6 / 18-20 May, 2012 (Group 1) and 11-13 May/ 1-3 June 2012 (Group 2). During these lecturing days, you will also be notified for other details of your engagement with this course. In the ftp space you will find the exercises, presentations and readings. Your are kindly and strongly requested to read the readings before the class . This is extremely important to your understanding of and participation in the theoretical discussion.

PRESENTATION : Junik, a unique Kosovo approach on the spatial development which is based on natural and cultural heritage and on  local capacity planning .

Monday, April 23^rd  2012 , POLIS University, at 17:00-19:00.

   

From a village partially destroyed in 1999, Junik is today a municipality, forerunner  in terms of spatial planning and territorial development policies based on cultural and natural  assets. After a series of international presentations of the Junik case, different actors of this success story are coming in Tirana to talk about this experience.

The presentation will include several topics such as :

·         restoration projects,

·         idea workshops,

·         drafts of different plans such as  municipality /urban / regulatory  

·         planning methodology with local forces,

·         implementation of capital projects and plans through various initiatives, experiences that will be disclosed by the providers and the initiators of these processes.

·         seven of integrated territorial plans under the direction of CHwB, two of them with the expertise of U_POLIS & Metro_POLIS.
