Erich Schmid and Dr. Angela Thomas Schmid.
Erich is a well known Swiss cinematographer, writer, and journalist.
Angela (his wife), a historian of art, is the widow of Max Bill, one of the most famous Swiss artists of the 20th century (architect, sculptor and typographer), student of the famous Bauhaus in Dessau.
She has inherited most of Max Bills artist works, his villa and a huge amount of personal documents.
Erich Schmid, who is well known in Switzerland for his documentary films, has produced 2008 a documentary feature film about Max Bill (1908 – 1994), of course with the help of his wife Angela.
This film was shown worldwide during the last years (also in our University 3 years ago).
