FALL SEASON SCHEDULE- 1ST YEAR

Dear all,

Attached you can find the master schedule of the “Fall Season” for the academic year 2012-2013.

We would like to remind you  that, according to the master regulation of Professional Master Program during the “ Fall Season”, for the courses  that you have to deliver a project /or paper, from your final grade will be a penalization  of minus one grade (-1).

For all of you that are due to fulfill the courses after the “Fall session”, so after the academic year 2012-2013, for the written exams (NOT for the papers/or projects submission) you should pay  50 €, for the paper/or project submission will be the penalty of -1 one grade.

Celebrating MATRA Project Closure

We have the pleasure to celebrate with you  the successful completion of the project "Fostering Partnerships For Equitable Cities - Capacity building for participatory spatial planning", together with distinguished guests and His Excellency Martin dela Beij, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tirana. Further to the highlights of the three-year-course of the MATRA project, we would like to share with you a substantial, well-researched ambitious publication particularly aimed at policy-influencing: ‘Policyfollowers or Policymakers II !

The celebratory event will be held on April 19, 2013, at 16.00-17.30, in the premises of Polis University, where we will have the chance to toast to our current and possible future collaborations together. Attached, you will find the invitation and the agenda.

Architect and Artist Paolo Soleri (1919-2013)

Paolo Soleri died Tuesday morning at the age of 93.

He was an artist and an architect known for his critical views on urban sprawl and the development of Arcosanti, an experimental sustainable community in Arizona. He moved to the US to work for Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West in 1946.

His entire life was dedicated to his dream the ideal sustainable city and to promote the concept of "Arcology".(Archcitecture+Ecology).
